I got a new 5K iMac 27" but something went wrong in the install process and now the iMac on boot just shows a STOP sign. I got it into Recovery mode and tried to reinstall Mac OS Sierra, but it won't and for some reason I can't format the HDD? Can someone please help?

Formatted the disk to MBR and then back to GUIDED and it worked
