Posted a few times about this machine and once again need advice about what to do.
iMac is covered with AppleCare until November 2018, was purchased November 2015 from Apple in the UK.

October 2017 - graphical anomalies/pink glitching, and stuck/dead pixels - Apple replaced the screen and the logic board.
March 2018 - iMac began losing power/turning off intermittently - Apple re-installed the OS.
April/May 2018 - (3 weeks later) iMac began losing power/turning off once again - Apple ran a series of stress tests over the course of 2 days and couldn't diagnose an issue, however this time they didn't re-install the OS.
June 2018 - Left the iMac in the box until a couple of weeks ago. The console opened by itself a few days ago showing 2500 errors, also experiencing graphical anomalies/glitching on startup/shut down again.

What should I do?

Take it to them and explain everything, saying you paid £2k+ for an iMac and have had non-stop issues. Ask for it to be replaced. Go in with a firm attitude and escalate it until you speak to a manager of some sort.

Tell Apple that its service is unacceptable and that you want the entire unit replaced.

Be sure to return the unit to stock (remove any upgraded memory, SSD, etc.).

Having the same power issue with my 2015 5K iMac. Mine was turning off every day and the power button was unable to boot up the iMac or hard reboot it. Its at apple right now who are telling me its a display issue and thus they are replacing the display??

It's a problem with the power supply.

Your local Apple "Genius" is as dumb as a brick.

It's been a huge pain trying to get them to fix mine (posted on your thread), has yours been fixed?
Its strange that they want to replace the screen, I had a screen replacement and logic board replacement last year then a few months later the power issues started happening. I still haven't got it back because they managed to chip the pedestal and then didn't admit it until I questioned it when I was inspecting it.

The Genius and one of the back room repair technicians were reluctant to replace the power supply until I called AppleCare who told them to replace it. Had a dreadful customer service experience, and then when I thought it was fixed I noticed they'd taken two big chunks out of the pedestal so they've had to keep it for another week.

Everything worked for about a week and the issues have started again. I recorded one of the many shutdowns so I can show the genius rep tomorrow. They replaced my display due to a few blown pixels. When I spoke to the rep on the phone yesterday, he said he thought my issue was a sleep problem. If that were true it would also be present on a brand new High Sierra install booting from an external SSD. Which to me still indicates an issue with the Mac.
