My power button is no longer responsive after replacing my battery in my 13month old 5S. Everything except the power button is working great. Did I miss a step somewhere? Did I have to reset something? I can't find anything on Google with this problem on a 5S.

does it click still? maybe you forgot to attach a ribbon cable when you did the replacement.

Yeah it clicks as normal but no response at all. The 3 ribbon cables for lcd, digitizer, and speaker in upper right all snapped into place and so did the battery ribbon and home button ribbon.

Turks out power ribbon was slightly cut into while using a screwdriver to remove the battery fr the adhesive. All fixed now with a new ribbon.
