its ******** to everyone here who really want and iPhone and he's creating all this madness about camping out not even for the iPhone but for attention. What a low life piece of ****

Ewww!

I just wiki'ed the guy myself, and there's a shirtless picture of him waiting in line. Be warned! It's not a pretty sight....

Would be funny if on Friday morning someone from Apple comes outside walks 25 yards away and says okay, folks you can start lining up Here!

I went there today to pick up an iMic. I must say, I smelled the fellow by the time I reached 57th street.

Of course there was that pleasant little power outage, so I had to walk home in the sweltering heat, so I probably smelled similarly when I reached my apartment.

I knew something was up...

I knew something was up when I saw that first on-line interview video - I think it was gizmodo or something - did you notice one of the first things he asked was something along the lines of "you got credentials?"

People don't ask that if they are just waiting in line and a reporter walks up. The guy just wants the publicity.

Look, I understand that this guy is a jackass and a media whore, but personally, I don't understand what the big deal is. If he wants to sit in line for an iPhone or to get his name in the paper, it makes no real difference; it is his prerogative. I don't know what is worse -- that he would actually sit in line just to get his name in the paper, or that all the Apple fanboys would get so damn wound up about it...

you know what I would love to see... is a video of him on my iphone Via Youtube with him being interviewed and some guy dressed like the "Hi, i'm a Mac"dude runs up and just Punches the MESS out of him so hard that he falls out of his chair.

It is not funny or nice to condone real physical violence against another person. That being said, the idea of that being on youtube would be so funny. Like all these media cameras were rolling and someone just runs up and punches him in the face.

Sorry, I should not be laughing but I can not help it.

i assumed it was an apple PR/marketing firm plant. i'm actually surprised it is even more lame.

I totaly agree with you but honestly if the video was out there ... the SECOND my iPhone came off the dock for the first time the first thing I would do is pull it up Via You tube Widget and LMAO. what would be even better is if he jumped infront of the camera and shouted "THIS IS FOR ALL YOU EBAYERS OUT THERE!" .... WHAM! ... then he runs off into the distance..

Something else to point out in the article they link the Wiki page about him and this gave me a great laugh.

With a little luck, the NYC weather pattern will hold through early Friday. :)
