I have a 5th ge. ipod 30gb it is syncd with my pc I recently purcahsed a mac book and there are a few songs i put on the mac that i would like to now put on my ipod,when i try to sync it says ipod syncd to another computer do you want to sync with this computer you will lose all data ,all i want to do is add the music to the ipod not lose everything,how do i just add music without re-syncing.

Since you are trying to sync to a new machine with a new library, you have to resync with the new iTunes install and lose the songs on the iPod in the process. However, before doing so you should use Senuti http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/ to get the songs off your iPod and add them to your new machine's iTunes library.
 
Or plug iPod into your old computer and choose Manually Manage Songs
