I have heard that a 613 tethered jailbreak for the 4 is out... but I have also heard there are a bunch of scam 6.1.3s. Can any one point me to the legit one?

Nothing for 6.1.3.

99.9% chance there will never be another jailbreak for iOS6 for the A5 devices.

How did you end up on 6.1.3?

Here's hoping that 0.1% that a bootrom exploit will be found :D.

As bumpy said, there's no way to jailbreak a 4S on 6.1.3. It applies to the 4 and under (A4 processors) because there is a bootrom exploit. Should one be found for the devices above it, then that is when it'll apply to the 4S and so on until the bootrom exploit is fixed in one of the newer devices

well started having trouble with my battery, says it is 100% charged for way too long, then drops and at about 30% it dies. took it to apple store, diagnostics says battery okay and phone out of warranty, Apple guy says i need a full restore. I upgraded to 6.1.3 to see if it would fix the problem, but no joy:mad:

so i figured i might jailbreak if i need to do a full restore, but i seem to be out of luck. Oh well, in the past jailbreak was a nice time sink, but i guess i just do a full restore and wait for ios 7 or a new phone

thanks

it is scary how many sites claim to jailbreak the 4s or 5. hope people aren't
falling for it

on itunes, did you just click "update? if yes, then that isn't a full restore

if you have the iphone 4, you can jailbreak tethered using redsn0w
