iPhone 6.1.3 Users waiting for JB

A good news for al those stuck with 6.1.3 but posixninja has'nt confirmed whether he will release this for 6.1.3 or iOS 7 ... But still it's a Huge Ray of Light In Darkness :p

Good news for those buying new iDevices in the future that have 6.1.3 pre-installed. Anyone who was on 6.1.2 and decided to upgrade to 6.1.3 clearly don't care that much about JB.

But there are STILL a lot of posts in this forum about people installing some incompatible or pirate tweaks resultig in boot loops,stuck having to forcibily restore Including Myself :eek: so it's nice !!
 
If he has exploits and is saying the next jailbreak will be done by him, then given his track record, I think he will pull through.

Seeing as iOS 7 likely isn't coming this summer (since we would need to have previews for it and likely OSX 10.9 before end of April ...), and there is a possibility it could be patched before the Fall, I wouldn't mind seeing another iOS 6 jailbreak, so as long as he waits for 6.1.4/6.2.0.
 
There was a dude in the android scene named tripnraver or something like it...Reminds me a lot of this guy. Lotsa drama and one man show stuff that just built people up, only to bring them crashing down. Boy was he butthurt against cyanogen mod and ICS...

People need to work together. I don't know that I'd trust a jailbreak produced by a one man show anymore.

Hence why shouldnt use pirate tweaks and do the proper research and also save blobs - which im doing 1st thing tomorrow! Hahah

Yep and if you don't save them they won't do anything in the future either, lets see how many blob-sceptics we have after the devs come up with a downgrade, it was the same on 5.x....

Man do i miss my C64 and Atari 520ST!
 
I'd love for him to pull a George Hotz and trash talk and then bust out an A5+ bootrom exploit just as A7 devices release :D

I could live with that.

I remain skeptical, too, however. But him and pod2g are doing a JB talk together at hack-in-the-box, perhaps the nerdy sparks will fly.

Surprisingly we have not seen any betas for 10.9 yet when last year the 10.8 betas started in february.

I also agree that if he or anyone does release a untethered JB then they should wait till 6.1.4 or whichever number they choose next. 6.1.3 was a pointless update if you dont use a lockscreen or live in japan

I've read that the Evasi0n Team have saved exploits too.

Time will tell who's gonna walk the walk, and not just talk the talk !

Yea, not saying you shouldn't save them. His statement read as if he saved them tomorrow and something happened, he'd be ok.
 
If he uses those exploits he's found and then apple fix them, we might never see an iOS 7 jailbreak.

Yeah the evasi0n team has at least one big exploit up their sleeves, they however have said they wish to keep the exploit undisclosed so that should a new iOS version comes out so that they'll be able to get in and snoop around. If they find its slated to get patched they'll use it, if not it'll stay in reserve.
 
So basically if we have an updated device, and have to resolve, we are stuck with 6.1.3? :(
 
No point in releasing jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3. Most of the idiots that updated their iDevices to 6.1.3 without reading online first if it was okay will do the same thing if Apple releases 6.1.4 and patches these new exploits. They will update and complain yet again. Trying to make everyone feel sorry for them. Rule #1 jailbreakers: Don't update until given the thumbs up first. If you're stupid, you're screwed.

It's not about being stupid and upgrading .. Many more people have to forcibily update to non jailbreakable version for other reasons .. they dont want to but they get stuck ! No Other Choice :( ! Good Lord I still haven't encountered any such problem on my current iPhone. :)
