iPhone 6/6+ users: What tweaks are you running?

I'm on the iPhone 6 (16GB) on iOS 8.1.

I currently have installed:

ForceGoodFit - Forces apps to use the 6/6+ resolution (some apps look bad or break when you use this though, be warned)

DetailedBatteryUsage - Wayy more detail for Battery Usage (I just wanted the graph)

iCleaner - Remove junk files off your phone

SameStatus - Smaller status bar on the lockscreen

Alkaline - Battery icon themer

LockGlyph - Replaces Slide to Unlock with the Apple Pay animation

Springtomize 3 - For customizing Springboard appearance

RecentFacebook - Forces Most Recent for the Facebook app
 
check out:

callbar - beautiful smaller phone/callbar

möbius - lets you continually swipe through their iOS pages

flurry - change the blur and tint level of overlays

Aria - changes the color of default music app to match the currently playing song album art (instead of the dead white space)
 
What I've added so far & how I use it:

iBlacklist--set to block calls from all but my contacts
BetterFiveIconDock--obvious...can't bear a 4 icon dock
HomescreenDesigner--set to a 3x4 centered grid
Folder Enhancer 7/8--12-16 icons per page in folders, + folders in folders
DockShift--bye bye, stupid blurred dock background & page dots
Icon Renamer--bye bye, icon names
MusicGestures--swipe on album art to play next song, double tap for play/pause

Most all of these do more than I've listed. I'll probably go back to theming again soon enough, but I typically add those tweaks last after a few days of making sure everything else is stable.

Edit: added Aria thanks to this thread. While I still prefer BlurredMusicApp for making the Music player more attractive, there's no sign right now that particular tweak will be updated for 8. So Aria will do!

Does callbar affect battery life?

  • 3 finger pinch: lock screen
  • swipe from right: switch to previous app (install LastApp from activator)
  • swipe up from bottom: first springboard page, simulates hitting the home button
  • hold status bar: rotation lock
Autopause: pauses music when volume turned off
BattSaver (paid): purports to extend battery life by turning off radios when locked

For openother for ios8 how do you find the app id for an app? Looking to replace calculator with Numerical. Thx.

Oh my bad.. for some reason I thought 5 columns was the default on the 6+, I forgot I used Springtomize to make mine 5 columns.

I tried to do it with springtomize but when I rotated it the icons would get bigger and the icon name would come back for a second then go back to normal. Weird little glitch. I don't have it with the better5column tweak.

Hmm, at first I didn't think it was but after a couple days I think it is making some difference. I haven't done any testing by turning it off and comparing tho.

It does also affect the UX though because since the radios are off when phone is locked. But if you can live with it, it does extend the battery life.
