Great question. If just one, then the extra gig in the 500s would be worth it.

Yeah i really want to know it because then i'll choose to get the d700 over the d300s. It seems in the anandtech review the display was solely coming from one card. And if both cards are giving the display, an imac for me will be finally out of the question, and it will make sense to get the mac pro
