It's a long story but I am now in the possession of 2 Powerbooks. I want to transfer all my files and applications to my new PB. To do this i need a 6-pin to 6-pin FireWire cable. Where can I get one from and how much are they ???
I can't see any in the UK Apple store.
Cheers
Mark

They should be available on the Apple store. Try searching firewire cable and browse to find the 6-pin to 6-pin ones. That's where I bought mine.

FireWire 6-6 pin 1.8m (thin)
Apple FireWire cables offer 400Mbps throughput that has made FireWire the choice for high-speed peripherals.

Price: £15.00

Any generic 6 pin to 6 pin Firewire cable will do. They are available everywhere! The Apple Store, ebay, macmall.com, macconnection.com, Radio Shack, Best Buy, Comp USA, etc...

It would be a waste to spend any more than $10 on one.
