Having the last Pro Max to have 60Hz before they went to 120Hz, I believe that is one of the major reason's it has lasted so long with no issues, no battery problems and still at 88% and no heating issues or any issues....and we al know how heat doesnt play nice with any computers devices.
unless they get the problems really under control with the 16 I just might go with the 16 plus as I gave up on Apple's camera's really being that good unless you are pro's with lots of 3rd party software to get what you are trying to get....so not caring about camera as every year it's just a gimmick anyway, why would I need the pro? I dont think I do...so now next year will give both a shot for purchase..PM and Plus.
iPad imo has less issues with 120Hz due to larger area to not get overheated constantly like a phone...now if the phone gets up to 6.9 as leaked for next year, that might help as well...lots to see for beta fixes for next year's iPhone.
