Hi all,
I have some questions about 64-bit:

1) Does new imacs have 64-bit EFI firmware ?
2) Does Snow Leopard in new imacs boot by default in 64-bit mode ?
3) If not, how can i modify the default mode ?
3) Can Windows 7 64-bit be installed using Bootcamp ?

I can comment on 4) - Yes, you can install Windows 7 64bit.

I'm also a bit interested in 2), even though it doesn't matter at all. :)
 
If you have more then 4GB memory, you need to run 64bit right, or can osx address more then 4GB in 32bit?

Yes OSX even in 32-bit mode uses 64-bit memory addressing. The line between 32 and 64 bit isn't quite as defined as on Windows. OSX is a hybrid between the two, allowing 64-bit apps and processes to run on top of a 32-bit kernel and vice versa.
 
Actually from what I've been hearing is that the new ATI drivers are 64 bit only. If they are then the new iMacs must boot 64 bit by default.
 
My quad i5 booted in 32bit by default (now in 64bit mode though ;))
