What should I do? It is about 1/2 an inch in, and about an inch long. It could have been there for a while - it's kinda subtle, only really noticeable on a black background. It is just a place where the screen is noticeably lighter - Really noticable on said black background. I've treated this thing with kid gloves, I didn't do anything to it - do you think this qualifies as a warrantee-able defect? It wasn't there a week ago...

You might be referring to light bleed. You can call apple and schedule a genius bar appointment for a possible replacement.
