Is apple lying to us... Becasue granted it doesn't charge as fast but the charger not only kept the battery from dying but also charged the computer fully... Do I have any need for that giant power brick...?
Keep in mind this was while I was using the computer to watch a movie....

I'm sure Apple has their reasons for this, but I have been recharging my MBP with an extra MB charger for quite sometime now w/o any ill effects. I usually put it to sleep or shut it down then throw it on the 65w charger.

1 Watt is simply 1 Joule per second. Therefore, it is conceivable that the 65W charger would work, but would take a longer time to charge.

It may end up overheating because more juice than speced is coursing through its veins.

I'd even hazard to say that if your house burns down as a result and kills your family, in your lawsuit against Apple they will point out that you are using something for a purpose that it is not intended to.

Its FiNE

I've asked Applecare about it before. Its no problem. I've used 65w powerbook with 45w ibook chargers and mbps with 65w mb chargers. It just takes longer to charge. And if your doing games or processor intense task it may not charge at all, but do it up. It's not gonna hurt anything. I guarantee it
