Anyone else notice the flood of new apps out today. By my count there are 68. This has easily been the biggest push of new apps on iTunes that I've seen so far.

I guess either the extra developers that apple let in around the 11th are now coming out with stuff or it has just taken apple awhile to review everything.

So far I think my favorite from today is the LOLCat app :)

Did you count JUST the new applications?

Cause if you do all iPhone apps, then release date, you do know that updated apps shows the release date as today.

Yep just new apps. I have a site that aggregates apps as they are released and ignores the updated ones (why does itunes list them like that anyways). I've posted the link here a few times so I didn't want to post it again but oh well. It's http://appstorefeed.com. Some more were just released with tomorrows published date so really it's over 70 now. Pretty exciting to see so many apps come out.
