You do realize that you are reposting a story that 9 to 5 has reposted from those clowns at TonyMac who had reposted originally from Netkas forums? (how many repostings is that...4 or 5?)
That the story is one broken by myself here and at Netkas on the 16th?
The joke so far is that myself and like 3 or 4 other people are the only ones to have gotten a 6950 or 6970 to run in ML 10.8. Never yet on a Hackintosh. They even work on a 1,1 or 2,1 running 10.8, no EFI or boot screens but they work.
So far, the cards only work on an actual Mac Pro. Follow the links....there is nothing there that wasn't posted here 5 days ago.
The good news is that my 6950 carries 2 @ 6 pin connectors. Boots and runs beautifully in my 4,1/5,1. 4 Displays at once and faster than 5870. But so far, they haven't worked in 10.8 anywhere but on an actual Mac from Apple iToys Inc.
