6pin to 8pin Power cable on Graphic Card

i can see the newer graphic cards use 8pin+ 6pin for power.

can i use one of this:

i don't have real 8pin power cable on my Mac Pro 4,1 PSU.

That cable is not the correct one. Your Mac Pro has two mini PCI-e 6-pin power connectors. You need a mini-PCI-e 6 pin to PCI-e 6-pin, then a mini PCI-e 6-pin to PCI-e 8-pin.

You need something like this cable:

I forgot to mention, in case you did not know, the Mac Pro system board has the mini PCI-e connectors right on the system board. Google for the location if you can't find them.

i already own 2x mini 6pin to 6pin. just not too sure about mini 6pin to 8pin thats all.

i can run these cards without additional PSU right?

GTX 780
GTX 770
GTX 760
GTX 680
