Anyone else having issues with autofocus in lower light? It will just keep trying to focus every few seconds even if device or the things in front of it are not moving. Recorded video has this strange blur and that zoom in zoom out camera focus.

I think this is not software issue. The hardware (camera modul) is not for very low light created.

on my old iPhone 5 same problem.

Very strange. I failed to mention that i have it set to 1080@60 FPS and it looks kinda dark even if its not so dark in reality. So i switched now to 4K and the video is much brighter. No such issues in 4K mode.

I think it is a known issue. Others have complained about it. I have the same problem on my 6S plus.

The higher the fps you choose, the darker it gets especially if it's indoors and not super bright.
I do 120 fps quite a bit and I need good lighting or else it makes the video dark. And yes AF sucks in video especially for moving subjects!

That might be true, but 1080@30 and @60 FPS has the same issues. That would suggest @30 FPS should be better.

I had this problem until I installed iOS 9.2, now it seems to be gone.
