iPhone 6S Public Beta stable?

Any views please on using 6S with ios12 Pubic Beta and if Is it stable for daily driver?

I have used the beta on iPad Mini (4) with no known problems to date and it does seem to provide better performance, but wondering about battery drain or anything negative to report?

If not, maybe I should put it onto my 6S to improve performance! It may just delay me buying a new phone this year.

I’m using the PB on my iPhone X, and I don’t have any major issues with it. I’m sure the same can be said for the 6S.

There’s always a risk of data loss, and it is never advised you run a PB on your Daily Driver.

If you have a reliable back up, and you want to take the plunge, go ahead! The worst thing that can happen is you have to spend an hour restoring your phone back to iOS 11

I have been using the betas for a few weeks they have become more and more reliable. There’s the odd glitch but it is on my main phone and I have no complaints (subject to the usual beta caveats!)

I have been running public betas on my daily devices since beta 4 and had no issues, except for the famous update pop up bug that came up with the beta before last and has now been fixed.

At this point it is very solid and we should be getting the GM next week. I am sure it will bring more zestiness to your iPhone 6S, you just need to decide whether you want to put a beta on it now or wait for a final public release in a few weeks.

I'm not on the PBs but rather the DBs, installed on an ATTWS 6S and VZW 6S+. The latest builds - save for the Beta "popup" that has been resolved - have been IMO very stable, with pretty much all of the apps I need working without issue. I also have it installed on my LTE Air 2 and a VZW iP6, also without issues.

I could offer that the GM will likely be out on the day of the next Apple Event, and there will likely be one or two more builds out - you've waited this long, what's another 9-10 days?

Either way, this series of betas has been easily the most stable of any of those I've tested, since iOS 5 - no question about this from me...

Running iOS 12 beta 12 on my 6S, its amazing. I've updated from iOS 10 to iOS 12 so trust me, I know what i'm talking.

I've been running my 6S for several weeks now. It's like I got a new iPhone. It is honestly truly amazing how terrible iOS 11 was in comparison.

I have the latest 12 Beta on my 6S+, thus far it isn’t choppy (during screen swiping) like 11 was.
