Hi folks,
I've got kind of a stupid situation on my hands. Just bought a used 6S. The seller kept it in amazing physical condition--looks about a week old--but I noticed the battery life (after optimizing all settings) being about on par with that of my 2 year old 5S. Seems a bit short.
Battery Life app tells me it has 634 cycles on it already, and has a wear level of about 15-17%. The warranty on this phone is slated to expire Nov 22nd.
Being a cheapskate, I'd love to be able to get the battery replaced while it's still under warranty since it's close to Apple's 80% threshold and has a significant amount of wear on it. Any advice on how I should go about achieving this goal?
Seems silly to have to resort to gaming/FaceTime video-ing for several hours a day just to wear out the battery on purpose, but that's the best plan I've been able to come up with so far. Needless to say, if there's a better idea out there I'd love to hear it.
