Hi, I've just dug up an old iPod classic and replaced the battery. However, it pretty much doesn't work at all (tested with new and old battery).

- Doesn't play any songs, stuck at 0:00 (pre-restore)
- Freezes when I try to play a song (post-restore)

- Freezes when I plug into computer normally
- Only works in disk mode

- No audio but headphones are detected in diagnosis. I tested the audio with the pre-installed games since no songs work.

- HDSmartData shows the following results in diagnosis mode:
Retracts: 244
Reallocs: 0
Pending Sectors: 0
PowerOn Hours: 269
Start/Stops: 243

Do you guys think this is a HD or logic board problem?
