Well ios13 turned my 7 plus into a piece of garbage. Wish i could roll it back.

its also getting crazy hot now.

Apple is still signing iOS 12.4.1 if you want to downgrade to that, you will lose your data though. This is what happens when you install day one software. Apple is releasing 13.1 in a couple of days so try holding out until then, maybe that'll fix the issues you're having.

Have you tried setting it up as a new phone to try to resolve this? Mine is admittedly an 8 Plus but iOS 13 runs like melted butter. Seems unlikely that the 7 is that much less able to run it? If it's getting very hot then there's probably a specific issue.

My 7 plus runs iOS 13 just fine, I've been on it since beta 1 and haven't had any issues that made me think of it as a sluggish mess. So it's probably an issue with the OP's phone or their use case.

Seems several of us 7 owners and some 8 owners ive seen are having the same problems.

My son’s 6s seems rather sluggish on 13. 12.4.1 was fantastic. My Apple Watch (gen4 ) is also struggling a bit (laggy)
