Normally I'm a "Reduce Motion - On" kinda guy. But for iOS10 and my 7 Plus, I decided to stick with animations so I can use the new iMessage features.

But I've noticed too often stuttering when closing apps and returning to the home screen etc. Should I expect this to improve with 10.x?

My only (likely irrational) fear is that my new phone is performing less than optimal because I did a restore from back up, which had a few hiccups along the way. Apps and other functions appear to be behaving normally, it's just the graphics performance that is not great.

I think it's the os rather than phone. I've seen a lot of people complaining about less than stellar performance. I'm on a 6splus and have stuttering where really I shouldn't have. I guess if you are worried could you not set it up from scratch say with an ipsw file and not restore it
