iPhone 8.1.2 jailbreak how to?

Just wanted to know if I need to have the check mark next to:
3K Assistant .... Jailbreak and live different?
I left it on 1 iPhone 4S and removed it on the 2nd iPhone 4S and they seem to work
both to some extent.
The season I'm asking is that on the one, Cydia seems to just die when trying to install some tweaks.
I can try and try and try.
It just hangs for a few seconds, like 15 to maybe 20, and then just dies. Have restarted springboard
and even the phone. Hummmmmm!!!
Anything to do with the next post I posted!!

JB with TaiG after 8.1.2 upgrade
I have 2 iPhone 4S which I had 8.1 and JB:en. Everything worked fine.
I then downloaded 8.1.2 and held the Alt key and clicked on Update. I then
pointed to the ipsw file and it did its upgrade. I say upgrade because when iTunes was waiting for the iphone to restart, it came up and said it couldn't connect. On the phone it said it had upgraded. I checked and I have 8.1.2 and
all my apps and folders were all the same as before. I didn't have Cydia or
any of the tweaks that I had installed but everything seemed to run fine.
I then just went and ran TaiG and did the JB which also went ok.
Do I need to install 8.1.2 and no upgrade? If yes how do I do that? Just click on
update and not hold the Alt key? Am running Macbook Pro with Windows in a virtual machine.
