Using Sprint Verizon or AT&T is not the issue with ipsw compatibilty.
Check the model number at the back of your 5S. It should start with A and report it to me. I'll give you the link to the correct ipsw.
A1453. Thanks for the help.

Okay question. I slacked on fixing my Jailbroken iphone 6 plus. I have 8.1.2 on my phone and deleted by mistake cydia. Now my battery life sucks and no cydia. So if i update i will be on 8.1.3 which can't be JB so what do i do? just run a fresh 8.1.3 till something comes along or keep this 8.1.2 without a cydia and a battery that drains fast
But assuming you at least have ssh enabled and terminal on your phone
Use a computer to ssh into the iPhone and
type apt-get install cydia [enter]
su mobile -c uicache [enter]
Let me know if you have ifile and I can help you thru it

Thanks for the help but nope i deleted a lot before cause of battery and screen flips. So i deleted 1 to many which took cydia away.
How, by the way, did you delete Cydia?
Lol no idea i went into it and removed a few programs and i guess hit 1 that removed cydia also.
Given that he\she "accidentally deleted cydia" (not sure how one would even do that lol), you're way over his\her head with this one.
My understanding is Apple is still signing 8.1.2, so it'd be better for him\her to just restore and start fresh, maybe it'll solve his battery issues.
Tho my recommendation to him is to read the instructions to restore to 8.1.2 before doing it.
But it's not listed as an app.... Weird.... I guess stranger things have happened.
Now that i downloaded 8.1.2 and i know how to shift to select it can i get away with doing a update? will that kill the JB so i can re JB or do i have to do a restore? i did move all my pics and video's to my computer but i really hate to download all my bank accounts and games etc
Care to share why do you still jailbreak? Personally, aside for speeding up animations or perhaps adding more toggles to CC, I don't find it useful anymore.
Thanks!
The ability to block ads in safari over wifi or cellular.
The ability to easily download files via safari and send any type of file attachment I want via email.
The ability to turn my phone into a full gaming console through my big screen TV via emulators + displayout + bluetooth controller.
The ability to customize my home screen in endless ways via springtime.
The ability to add useful customized toggles to control center.
The ability to tether without having to pay a ridiculous fee for data you've already paid for.
There are many more I haven't mention, and even if you were to say you personally wouldn't need them... I do.

Is 8.1.3 still being signed?? Please reply..
It's the newest firmware available so YES (LOL!!!)
waiting for a long time till they release 8.2 jailbreak.
I hope there will be a jailbreak beyond 8.1.2 soon. I'm there and JB'ed and love it but my iPhone 6 is bent (no clue how, always in a case) and local Apple store said they'd swap it out under warranty. Not going to do so at the cost of my JB.
