Did you uninstall everything Apple related prior to installing or reinstalling iTunes? Both Apple Support Drivers, iTunes, Apple Software Update, and Bonjour? Those will be re-installed when iTunes is installed.

Just finished doing that. But I was replying to navodwickra who claimed to have jailbroken with the latest iTunes.
Now, with iTunes 12.0.1, Jailbreak Tool v2.2.0 says "Can't find Apple Device".
Edit: Ah, this time I had to go into Airplane Mode and now it's working. Didn't have to do that for 8.3 jailbreak.
Same was happening to me. I did a restore and then restored from backup and then before syncing, was able to jailbreak.
How did you get the jailbreak tool to find the Apple drivers? You said it didn't find them even with iTunes 12.0.1
I simply put the phone in airplane mode and tried again. It didn't complain then.
You mean the "can't find apple device" msg, right?
Oh sorry, my bad. I thought that you were still getting the "can't find Apple driver" error...I'm on the latest iTunes and I'm getting the driver error but I don't wanna mess with downgrading iTunes...
Yeah... I guess I'll do it again lol. I had held out and stayed on 8.1.2 for a while lol.

It keeps saying it can't find the drivers and I tried putting my phone into airplane mode. Do I need an older version of iTunes? O__o

It took me over an hour for 8.4
Airplane mode, passcode off, if it sticks at the first part of 60% before the reboot I just did a hard phone reboot. It'll then say rebooting please wait, wait it out... it may fail a few more times but just be patient with it and keep trying. If it fails after the reboot from 60% your best bet is to reboot the machine your on, reboot the phone, launch and close iTunes and then try it all over again. I did this on current xbox under OS X. It definitely took a few tries though. No restore needed for me

Absolutely painless, five minute jailbreak on a tiny Windows 8.1 laptop I keep around basically for jailbreaking. Followed instructions from Reddit (here), which includes solutions to the most common issues.
