I’ve seen it discussed here and on other videos as well but when I go to build the MacBook Air with the 512gb storage, it still states it’s only got the 7 core gpu?

How do I confirm I would be getting that gpu upgrade when I bump the storage?

It is the second option in the website. Its listed there. I have the MBA with 8GB RAM/8-core GPU.

Here is the direct link.

The low end version has 7 cores, the high end version has 8 cores.

Clearly Apple is using binning to handle chip yield.
Yea for sure, which is why I want the higher binned chip lol. I was floating between iPad Pro and MacBook but I already have a 6th gen ipad I use for Netflix mostly. But I am excited to get into some more video and photo editing beyond my phone.

Hopefully these m1’s are future proof. I imagine they are, apple manages to make their intel books last years
