I have an 80 gig ipod that worked fine till a while ago. My ipod went into that extremely dead mode where you have to slap it on your leg till it goes into a certain mode, and then reset it..... I did all that and it was fine for a while. Then it started not syncing to everything I had checked off, for it to sync to, and sometimes it would show that is sync'ed an album, but when you go to that album on the ipod, you find it only grabbed 1 or 2 songs from that album. The ipod is no where near full, but it will not sync properly. My itunes is on a PC running XP, and is not attached to the internet, but I have never had any problems till now. - Anyone have thoughts on this issue ?
Thanx

FYI - The reason My I tunes are on my PC and not my mac is that my Mac hard drive it not big enough as my I tunes has over 100 gigs in it.

Sounds like the 80GB hard drive is gone, not too hard to replace, but costs about £50 or $70
