I have iOS 5 installed on my first gen Wi-fi iPad, and after dropping Wi-fi (either going to sleep, or just reconnecting), the device requires manually adding my campus Wi-fi access point. I've heard from several other people on campus, who jumped the gun with GM releases, and they've run into the same problem as well. The device pops up asking for a password, but entering the correct password does not work. I've never had this problem with iOS 3.x or 4.x.

My campus uses 802.1x authentication. Has anyone else run into this problem on either their campus or work's Wi-fi? I'm trying to figure out if it's a global problem with iOS 5, or if it's unique to our network/security certificate configuration. I've urged people to hold off on upgrading as a result. :(
