Ok, I stumbled upon what I believe is the silliest app ever.

Not sure if the app I heard about beats that one but a buddy was telling me recently about an app that made Mario (of Super Mario Bros.fame) jumping noises. He thought that if you parked it in your pocket with the volume turned up while walking on a crowded sidewalk, you might get some odd stares and some laughs.

Can't remember the app's name, alas.

I think you're thinking of iMario, which will probably go the way of Duck Hunt and iBruno (i.e. pulled for copyright infringement)

BTW, I met "Mario" and got a picture taken at the Consumer Electronics Show a few years ago. And not just a guy in a Mario suit, but the actual guy who does the voice of Mario. And guess what... he's a 6.5 foot scandinavian-lookin' dude! Not some pint-sized Italian plumber!

I really like Pocket Arnold as far as silly apps...its a bunch of Arnold Shwarzinager (sp?) one liners...pretty cool to call people and talk to them as Arnold..girly mon!

Because it's worthless. Even if they were free, alot of Apps will just sit there and take up space. Some I wouldn't even call silly, just shots in the dark but someone made money on their fart app so the dream of instant riches lives on.
