Thats two immediate bad bugs. iOS 9 release with these two major bugs missed seems ridiculous to me.

Damn right. I couldn't use Google maps today because of the cellular data toggle and I thought it was an issue with my installation or something, so I reset all settings and then my phone got stuck at the Apple logo. A hard reset didn't fix it and neither would it restore through iTunes! I had to do a ******* DFU restore and am currently reloading my HUGE iCloud backup. Thanks a bunch Apple.

Well what do you know, I updated to 9.0.1 after my system crash and I can now toggle mobile data. I dare not attempt a reset all settings ever again though!

Geniuses work in retail stores and have nothing to do with iOS development / bug fixes.
No they don't but Apple employees including geniuses have access to apps we don't including one called the "daily download" that is basically an internal newspaper that lets the employees know what's going on with the company. Maybe it was in there?

I hope so. And above all other bug fixes, I plead, I beg, that performance issues are fixed.

Please. I want to jump on board to iOS 9 but I also want a fast phone.

I doubt there will actually be a 9.0.2.

9.1 was originally thought to be a November release with the iPad Pro (even this site reported that a few times) but it's now looking more like 9.1 will be along side the new AppleTV this October. So 9.1 is probably 3 weeks out (one more beta build in about a week then release two weeks later)

I don't know if 9.1 still includes iPad Pro specific support yet or not. If not then I could see a 9.2 for the iPad Pro release November.

I don't think so.

9.0.1 is nowhere near 8.4.1 standards in terms of stability and performance.

Wouldn't make sense for two months without updates.

Huh? I didn't say two months. Even this site on front page articles were suggesting 9.1 wasn't until November and the iPad Pro release. I was saying it's looking more likely now that 9.1 will be just a few weeks away when the AppleTV releases. How is mid September-mid October two months?

If it was it would be screenshotted and all over the internet.

Misread. I apologize.
