So, I was on 9.3.2 beta 4. Have a few iCloud backups from said beta.

I broke my 6S yesterday and am trying to restore onto an iPhone 5S I have. I assumed that the correct method would be to update it to the beta, and then erase all contents and settings, and then restore. However, erasing the settings seems to roll it back down to 9.3.1 and so the backup is no longer compatible.

Has anyone ever had a similar issue with backups from betas and know a workaround? Or, alternatively, is there a way to download the ipsw and restore through iTunes, and then update from the iCloud backup? I'm on the public beta, and am not a developer so unsure if this is possible or not.

You update to 9.3.2 Beta 4, go to settings, erase all content ands settings and it reverts back to 9.3.1? Thats not normal. I've done this multiple times. How many times did you attempt?

Oh, I'm actually an idiot. I downloaded the profile, then restored. Forgot to actually install the update...

Thanks for making me realise that. Assume all will work fine now.
