I went to the Apple store, and the 11” screen seems quite significantly larger than my 9.7”. For people who upgraded, do you feel the extra real estate in daily use?

My thinking was to upgrade to 12.9” as the size and weight are significantly reduced. But to me it still seems too big and unvieldly.

I upgraded from a 10.5 and it honestly feels a lot bigger. So if you’re upgrading from a 9.7 I can’t imagine how big that would feel. It’s a lot roomier that’s for sure.

Yes and No.

Tested it out in the Apple Store, the 11"'s clearly larger and comfortable to hold and watch, but not that much larger compare to the 12.9".

Depend on your need? If you use it to watch movies, tv shows or videos, the 12.9 is probably better. If you use it to read textbooks, pdf academic articles, the 12.9 is also probably better. If you use it to read epub books or Kindle, the 11" might be more comfortable.
