iPod 98 year old lady needs help

ok i'm not really 98, but pretend i am.

i've never owned an mp3 player before. the only fancy piece of technology i own is my imac. i'm considering buying a 1gb ipod shuffle. i've watched the tutorials at apple.com but i'm still confused about a couple of things.

how can i plug it into my car? does it go in the aux plug? does the ipod come with that or is it sold separately?

Yes, you will just plug the AUX cord into your ipod, and into the AUX plug in your car.

The AUX cable doesn't come with your iPod, but you can find some for about $5 just about in any general store (like walmart)

Just to add to the above reply. You need a headphone to headphone cable. You can indeed by these pretty much anywhere.
