Mine weren't much flimsier than the same strip on my Belkin Grip Vue. It's always going to be a weak area, unless you get a case that covers the home button. I personally don't like that style though.

Thanks for the update. I found that the strip got in the way when putting the iPod in my pocket. That strip would catch and fold up and get twisted.
Maybe I need looser pants.

I definitely don't like those silicone cases for putting in the pocket. They are just too sticky. Half the time, pulling them out of my pocket, the case would partially fall off.

Hi. I am new here, and I registered just to tell yall this. I bought 5 different colored silicone cases from hong kong for the iPod touch 4 for 4.00. Now the thing is I have a 3rd gen touch. Well the the wifi thing and the volume button don't line up but the case fits super snug the buttons are alot easier to press then the case made for the 3rd gen.And I don't notice any lint and it feels great in my hand!!! Let me know if y'all want the sellers name or a link and I'll get it for y'all

Eh, the silicon case gets loose and falls out in your pocket. I found the $1.99 rubber case by them better.
