News flash: an 8GB iPhone 3GS would not be a "new" product. When Phil said new, he meant BRAND NEW products that aren't currently on the market.
An 8GB 3GS would simply be an existing product with a smaller storage capacity.

Go roll eyes at yourself. Clearly all reports say that the introduction would be in response to the unexpected success of Verizon's Droid (which I contest). It just doesn't seem like it would happen, manufacturing would require sometime, even if it is just a matter of getting memory and shipping from China.
Waiting for this thread to join your other threads in being locked and don't you have a Droid to be playing with? Or maybe explaining your buying history.
The whole post is fail. It's about a rumor, and in the wrong section. This should be deleted or merged. Either way, its reported.
The OP's last couple of threads have been worse, this was rather civilized compared to some of the other shenanigans.
