Mines a 9C60 with no grainy and no banding!!! Then again, am I to judge with my glasses off or glass on? How can we all be sure that the 9C57 doesn't have grainy? Or my 9C60 is perfect with no grainy or color banding? My Samsung SyncMaster 204T shows color banding with some of those images, should I be worried and start a thread on Samsung support forums?

To me, my screen is beautiful. It shows my photos fine when browsing and when doing photo work. Maybe I am the lucky person out of thousands. Who knows and who cares!? Oh wait, you paid $3k for your laptop. Well, bummer for you then.

If you guys feel that you have been ripped off and Apple won't do anything, then file a classaction lawsuit. Do something about it other then complain. Just remember, I didn't see anything about LCD description on the brochure sitting next to the laptop. I guess the phrase, "you get what you pay for" applies. And if that means $3K for a LCD that isn't satisfactory, well tough.

I'm sorry for those that aren't happy with their purchase. Maybe instead of complaining here, take your complaints to Apple Inc. Customer Relations.

Does it really seem that none of us have taken our complaints to Apple? Maybe read through the posts before you post this kind of crap. Good that you're happy, but that doesn't mean that the LCD is good. For most graphics/photo professionals these displays are simply poor.

Maybe you need to reread the post and notice that my name is splattered on a lot of them. As I stated in my post above, instead of complaining like a little school girl, how about you take some legal action.
