What is the likelihood of a 5G Apple Silicon MacBook Pro 16" in 2021? Who else would want something like this? The battery life is now able to support something like this so it's not a far fetched idea anymore.

This is a crazy idea. A full size 5G MBP with M1 and their own 5G hardware... If, somehow, windows/linux can run well on these things, that'd be curtains for many hardware vendors.

I think they will offer MacBooks with 5G once they have their own modems ready. I doubt that this will be the case in 2021.
Same. Don't see the point of paying Qualcomm for something not necessary when they're so close.
