I've being trying to find a better email app with little to no results, anyone know of anything better than the stock email app?
What are you missing with your mail app? Perhaps that is the question you need to answer.
If you use IMAP you can set up folders with our desktop client. On the phone use Edit-Move to organize your messages. Can't add/modify folders on the phone though, just move messages to and from.Folders for organization
Does your email provider support push mail? My MobileMe mail comes in instantly. What I dont like about the mail app is it fails to push e-mail quickly. I really never get the red icon for mail unless I open it. I have push enabled dont get me wrong but it's just easier to open the mail app to see how much mail I have rather than rely on the red badge icon.
None that I know of personally. I use a Blackberry for work and iPhone for personal usage. Perhaps it's a personal preference, but I would rather not have the unified Inbox. I like knowing which emails are from which account as I have 4 of them. If I need to search across multiple accounts, I just use the search page that's next to the Home screen.Thats why I posted in the hacks section, maybe somebody knows of something in cydia or a repository where I could find this. I don't like how push doesn't work the way it should or the overall interface of the stock mail app. Something that resembles the blackberry mail system would be nice.

Push works great for me on MS Exchange server.
Things the Apple Mail App could do with:
- Select All Function
- Mark As Read and All Function
- Not all attachments allow you to view or even save them.
mBox is a great app for MSN/Hotmail users well worth the money.
There's a utility in Cydia that will let you download any email attachment.

I shouldn't have to switch to IMAP just to get folders.
What I have always hated about the Mail app is that it is a pain to get around in.
I have 3 accounts and it is 3 clicks per... back and forth to navigate.
Terrible.
Why not? Serious question, is there an easy route to get folders w/o IMAP that Apple just isn't implementing?
Cool, what's it called?
