Tonight I ordered the refurb MBA rev A 1.8/SSD.

And the past week of browsing through your comments, debates, praises, rants, sarcasm, and feuds was immensely informative and helpful. Together you are worth more than any flock of professional reviewers.

Keep it up!!

Regards
Andrew

Great buy. Hope you would not wait long for that 1.8inch Pata/ZIF SSD upgrade to at least 128GB that would be FOUR times faster than the old SSD.

Then it would certainly beat the heck out of a SSD Rev B except for graphics intensive apps. The new generation SSD rated at at least 200MB/s read and 160MB/s write :D (Yours does 50/30MB/s).

is the rev. a ssd really that slow? The differences you listed in comparison to the rev. B are pretty huge! Would you happen to have a link to some more detailed info on that? I would greatly appreciate it, thanks! :)
