So im buying cables to hook ipad up to my monitor (it has compoment and vga) and my TV. The problem is, that im questioning what options i have, and what the limitations are.

Heres what i know.

1. I could get the AV compoment cable, but that only shows video and music apps yes? Or does it show the picture app aswell? Since i use compoment i will get audio?

2. There is a vga adapter. I dont get audio from that? That will show Videos, and keynote etc, and pictures app am i righT? But not safari and the home screen etc.

3. Do you ever think there will be and adapter etc, that allows us to demo the ipad on to a tv, so that i can show the homescreen and everything.

Sorry for all the questions, just dont want to end up with the wrong cable

Component (Red, Green, Blue) and VGA (Video Graphics Adapter) only transmit video, NO audio.
The iPad has an audio out, for which you might need a 3.5mm to RCA cable.
