I tried charging my iphone straight with the a/c charger this morning and nothing. I tried a different outlet and still nothing. I had to use just the usb charger and charge it through the computer. Anyone else have this problem? Guess I have to visit an Apple store today.

That happens to me sometime, but I just use the Firewire cable that came with my 3G Ipod and I'm all set.... After waiting for about...12 hours... the Iphone Charger starts to work again....it's probably defected, but at this point, I don't mind since I have another charger.
Wow, I thought I was the only one.....mine stopped working a day ago and I was just about about to take it in and it started working again....I guess I will just wait and see if it keeps happening....I don't think they will just take my word for it not working intermittently

My wall charger also stopped working a few days after my iPhone purchase and while on vacation nonetheless. Although i was able to charge it through the usb port on my MBP.

I went into the Apple Store on Friday night, barely explained my situation and they handed me a new A/C charger without asking any questions or even testing my old charger. So if you wanted to get it exchanged, there should be no problems.

My charger also quit working yesterday. I promptly took it to the Apple store and they exchanged it without question. I asked the clerk whether this was common and he replied that he's exchanged a handful of charger; most of the problems are related to the battery.

I had a problem with my a/c charger not charging either. I took it into an apple store and they switched it. The genius still tested my old one, but it didn't work and I was out of there with a new charger.

man this is the third thread about this... There is an issues with some charges... Use a USB port for now and get the charger replaced...

You guys are lucky...Mine has stopped working twice...took it in to the store and it was working fine...so they wouldn't replace it Kind of bummed cause even though I understand they couldn't replicate the problem, I thought that since others had such over the top customer service that would happen for me too.
