Does anyone find it odd that a Computer Builder is the nation's largest music distributor?

I find this as very odd. Does anyone think maybe Apple will lose focus?

Of all companies in the tech sector, Apple are easily the most laser-focussed of them all. They have not taken their eyes off the ball once since the rise of the iPod.

I'm not saying they're perfect, but they sure know where they're going.

Well, if Dell decided to make a music store, and it became no1, it would be a little weird, but the iPod seems like a semi-natural progression from computers, and the music store a progression from that.

That Apple has made a device solely for music takes away from the idea that they are just a computer company in an unrelated industry.

I think Apple considers themselves more than just a "computer builder". They also provide an OS, software, retail stores, etc. Hence, the move from "Apple Computer Inc." to just "Apple Inc."

Yeah and not to mention the iPod. That is the reason for their success. iPod led to iTMS.
