I was having trouble trying to understand the configuration across different devices. Having multiple tabs open and getting confused what each device could have. Just wanted to clear this up for myself. Hopefully it’s useful to others making buying decisions.

I don’t know about “a better understanding” but it is good reuse of the choose your options hierarchy system. Actually, it is a little strange Apple doesn’t have such a page or app — my guess is because it would compromise the amount of marketing flare per product (page).

In other words, it’s only a great tool for the geeky customer, a person who has significant knowledge about those components already.
