I see that I can enroll. Do you need to lose all of your data when you either install the beta, or when you eventually install the general release? I'm hoping that I can install the beta like any other update.

Thanks,
Chris

Generally it works like any other update. That also means there's a chance that you could lose data or run into some issue that would require you to reinstall (and thus lose data as well in the process basically). So always good to have a backup from right before.

The enrollment could take some time. I had many problems to sign up. I hope they fixed it now. Also I had to wait a few days after I was finally able to do the payment.

If you choose update while holding alt/option (Mac) or shift on (Windows) instead of clicking on restore in iTunes, normally nothing should get lost. But as already mentioned, a backup should be made, just in case anything goes wrong (never happened to me).

And the problem with not getting OTA updates, when you are not already on a Beta or a too old one, is now solved with the new profile what you can download there.

Payment? There is no payment involved as the beta program is free to join. Are you talking about the developer program?

Oh sorry you are right. I confused it because everyone wants to have the new iOS 9.3 Beta now and I thought @cmeisenzahl wanted to sign up for a developer account to get it.
