Does anyone know if a Radeon HD5770 (MacPro1,1 w/Mavs) will support 2 mons on a combo of the DVI-I and mDP or both mDPs over 15 foot cables at 1920x1200 without a KVM or other extender?
I would also be upgrading the procs to Xeon 5365s.

Has anyone run GeekBench on a MacPro1,1 upgraded to Mavs with 16G ram and Xeon 5365 3Ghz Quad core and Radeon HD5770?
BareFeats doesn't go that far back nor modded as such.
Trying to compare those numbers with my MBA6,2 2013 (1.7G, i7, 8G ram) and a MacMini7,1 2014 (3G i7, 16G ram)

The MP1,1 is already on Mavs and an SSD. Trying to decide whether to continue the upgrade/mod or find a used macmini 2014 tricked out.

If you decide to go with a Mac mini, avoid the 2014 model. The hard drives are the only thing that's upgradeable, it has older TB2 ports, and only comes with dual-core processors. RAM and CPU are soldered on. It was kind of a downgrade from the quad-core 2012 models.

I see your point about the 2012 vs 2014.

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with the EXACT combo of parts that you listed... however, I can come close.

I had a genuine Mac Pro 1,1 (flashed to 2,1) with dual X5365 CPUs, 32GB of 667mhz RAM, a Radeon HD 4870 GPU, and running the latest version of Lion (10.7.5) with no hacks. Due to the outdated OS, I was only able to run Geekbench 3. Heres the scores:

https://browser.geekbench.com/geekbench3/8688334

I was running dual monitors off it (2 Apple Cinema Displays that used native mDP). One was connected to the DVI port with an Apple mDP to DVI adapter, the other was plugged directly into the mDP. However, the cables were only 6ft long.

Hope this helps in some way.
