Hi, I was wondering if Monterey is "stable enough" already and it's worth updating, or if I should wait for the public release. Second question is, if I upgrade now to a beta, can I then upgrade to the public final/GA release when it's out? Thanks!

Most find Monterey beta 6 very stable, but it’s been almost 3 weeks without a new update so look for comments about a beta 7 early next week. Yes the beta cycle will end with a RC that goes public.

Always keep a recent backup in case something unusual happens, so you in the very least can use migration assistant to restore all you system settings and user data after reinstalling the OS if that should ever be necessary. :)

I have a good setup with backups. Should I pull the trigger? :p
