Hi,

I just put Windows XP Home (SP2) on my new iMac and it runs magnificently. There are, however, a couple nagging issues that I'd like to have resolved.

1. I can install new software just fine, but when I try to copy something to the windows partition from another PC it says "Not enough space available."

2. Updating Windows via Windows Update doesn't work.

Can anyone give me a hand? Thanks :-D

Not that you're a thief... but is you XP genuine, that may be the update blocker? Try going to Microsoft's website and getting WGA certified, (anti-theft tool, it essentially checks that your copy of Windows is legit and give M$ the OK to offer you M$ exclusive services ie. updates.) that's what I had to do to get updates.

Does it get any more specific than that? Please post a verbatim error message complete with any error numbers.

Are you using the Windows Update website, or the automatic update control panel?
