iOS 11 itself is a beta. There is no differentiation between beta and public release in my experience when it comes to iOS 11. Join the beta train
That's not actually good advice if you need to restore to 11.1.2 and your single iCloud backup is on 11.2b.best point. joining now.
An iCloud backup cannot be "archived" like an iTunes backup can. While I've generally had very few issues with iOS betas in the past, I'd only recommend doing it if you can do an archived iTunes backup, per the Apple recommendations. You don't want to be SOL needing to restore to a previous version with no valid backup.

Yes but keep in mind you potentially lose data, like Messages. That is only currently backed up via iCloud or iTunes backups. But can't i just restore to previous version of iOS then just log in with iCloud.
If something were to happen

Probably not a big deal. Like I said, I've not personally had an issue yet, but better to be safe than sorry.Ahh ok, im already on beta, maybe i wont do it next time thanks
I have been on beta channel for months now. The beta is actually more stable than the public release so no question of downgrading. I actually avoided many bugs and performance issues affecting the public release hanks to the beta channel.Ahh ok, im already on beta, maybe i wont do it next time thanks
