A couple questions about the keyboard dock and bluetooth keyboards

I know the keyboard dock has replaced the F keys with iPad specific function keys, but what about if you were to pair the iPad with apples bluetooth keyboard, do the F keys become the iPad function keys? Would they do this for non apple bluetooth keyboards too?

Also what is the blank key for on the keyboard dock?

I wonder how long it will be until someone hacks together a dongle to allow you to plug in usb/ps2 keyboards into the iPad.
